Connecting Generations at The Place of the Flowing River.

Ziibimijwang is a non profit through Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians that aims to connect its community with food and farming. We emphasize sustainable methods that align with Anishnaabek traditional ecological knowledge.

Due to colonization, many folks have lost connection to their native foods, and that has caused emotional and physical ailments. Helping indigenous folks reconnect with these culturally relevant foods can create a community space of healing.

Mission Statement

Cultivate a healing and inclusive space, where intentional community engagement, transparent communication, and rematriative farming practices guide our journey towards a thriving future for the Little Traverse Bay Bands Of Odawa Indians and wider Community. Together, we will nurture the land, nourish our community, and empower generations to come
